The peer review process at Educate Technik: JOURNAL of ENGINEERING SCIENCES ensures the quality, originality, and scientific contribution of every article published. The journal applies a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process.

1. Initial Screening

  • All submitted manuscripts are first reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief or members of the Editorial Board.

  • At this stage, manuscripts are evaluated based on:

    • Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope

    • Originality and novelty of the research

    • Compliance with the Author Guidelines

    • Plagiarism check using Turnitin or iThenticate (maximum similarity index: 20%)

  • Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be desk rejected without being sent for external peer review.

2. Assignment to Reviewers

  • Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise.

  • The journal uses a double-blind review system:

    • Authors do not know the reviewers’ identities.

    • Reviewers do not know the authors’ identities.

3. Review Process

  • Reviewers are asked to evaluate the manuscript based on the following aspects:

    • Originality and novelty of the research

    • Relevance and scientific contribution to the field of engineering and technology

    • Methodological rigor and appropriateness of the analysis

    • Clarity of presentation, structure, and language

    • Use of references, especially recent and relevant literature

  • Reviewers provide constructive comments and recommendations to help improve the manuscript.

4. Review Outcomes

  • The revised manuscript must be submitted within the specified deadline.

  • If necessary, the revised version may be sent back to the same reviewers for re-evaluation.

6. Final Decision

  • The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the overall quality of the revised manuscript.

  • Once accepted, the manuscript proceeds to copyediting, layout editing, and final proofreading prior to publication.

7. Publication
